The scene was filmed at High Park - a 161-hectare park created in 1876, the second largest park in Toronto. The park is located between two deep ravines with a central plain that contains various sports fields and event spaces. The park features a large Grenadier Pond fed by Wendigo Creek, naturalized wetlands, landscaped gardens, a small zoo, greenhouses, a nature center, and a historic museum.
