In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Khanykov House - a large wooden house in the north of Arzamas, built around 1850 in the late classicism style with a unique volumetric-spatial composition. By the way, there is a small continuity error here, since according to the plot of the series, Pushkin wrote Eugene Onegin in this house, and it was completed in 1831, i.e., about 20 years before the house was built.
