The scene was filmed at Wilton House - an English country house in Wilton, near Salisbury in Wiltshire. For over 400 years, it has been the country residence of the Earls of Pembroke. The first recorded building on the site of Wilton House was a priory founded by King Egbert around 871. Through the generosity of King Alfred, the priory was granted lands and estates until it became rich and powerful. However, by the time Wilton Abbey was dissolved during the Dissolution of the Monasteries initiated by King Henry VIII, its prosperity had already declined. After the confiscation of the abbey, Henry gave it and its surrounding estates to William Herbert, 1st Earl of Pembroke (created in 1551) around 1544. (source Wikipedia)

The scene was filmed at Karkloof Falls in South Africa, a fairly high waterfall about 100 meters high, which dries up in dry times and becomes a very small stream. So judging by the abundance of water in the film, it was filmed in spring after rain.
