Today I'll tell you about the webcomic community Spiderforest, where I am a member with the English version of my comic (Gifts of Wandering Ice in English version Gifts of Wandering Ice).

First of all, Spiderforest, unlike Acomics, Webtoon, Tapas, Mangalib, and others, is NOT an aggregator. The community has a common website, but it does not publish comics, only links to them (each comic has its own site, not connected to aggregators) with a picture and description, as well as related news.

Spiderforest advertises the comics of its members, but, unlike aggregators, it does not maintain lists of favorites and popular authors that in any aggregator stifle all newcomers and draw attention to themselves: in Spiderforest, everyone gets advertising equally (and that's cool!).

Membership in Spiderforest itself is a mark of quality, because getting in is not easy. Admissions are announced once a year, new authors are accepted after a vote among community members, as well as a thorough review of their comics...
