Milky Way Photographer of the Year 2026: 6500 Photos of Stars, and Not a Single One About Your Problems

You know, there are two types of people. The first look at the night sky and see "just a dot." The second spend weeks trying to capture the Milky Way above the snow-covered Andes or an abandoned chapel in the Polish wilderness. And the second, as usual, are the ones who rock.

This year, the Milky Way Photographer of the Year competition received over 6,500 entries from twelve countries. USA, Chile, New Zealand, Poland, Mexico — the geography commands respect.
