🙀😸About the Children of Stars - a fantasy race from "The Path of Ukusai" and "The Obsidian Triad".

In Omnis, there are only two Children of Stars: Orion and Aster. They are an anomaly, a legacy of a turbulent time when the young world was full of chaos and responded to any spark of creation from the world-holders. And they are immortal, just as works of art are immortal: a book, a painting, or a song. Which, alas, cannot be said of their children...

Large eyes with vertical pupils, capable of seeing in the dark and distinguishing far more colors than humans know. Keen ears. Sharp teeth. A tenacious mind and a hot temper. Predators, an echo of an unknown world, which, as we learn in "The Path of Ukusai", turned out to be Kartsal - a planet that lures and devours starships.

Orion and Aster had long dreamed of their unknown homeland, and that they would one day see it was once unknown even to the author of The Obsidian Triad :) But books created with soul at some point begin to live their own lives.
