Today I released an LP by Sayok

Sayok is a one-man band project founded in 2021. Their music combines live instruments with electronic ones, sampled beats with natural sounds from the surrounding world. The genres can be described as post-rock and downtempo, in some tracks shifting into chillout or hip-hop.

The album "Roadside" was recorded using analog synthesizers (Korg Minilogue xd, Moog Mother-32), the Plaits module, and VST synthesizers (SERUM, Korg Monopoly, Arturia Juno / CS-80 / Jupiter8).

While working on the tracks, I imagined a road adventure - a wide highway, rare gas stations, monotonous landscapes. Away from the city into the unknown, - Alexander Sayok
