In Reality

The scene was filmed on the Dutch island of Texel near the town of De Koog. If you walk from the town towards the sea, the third descent on the right is exactly where the film was shot, but they all look very similar. On the geo point we have shown the exact location of this descent. This spot on the beach has become truly iconic, visited by many people every year.

The scene was filmed at the real Hotel Metropole. Interestingly, the hotel, due to its unique atmosphere and classic luxury, has opened its doors to film crews many times. Films such as 'Between Angel and Devil', 'Möbius', 'The Last Diamond', 'London Holidays', and others were shot here. Unfortunately, you can no longer stay there. The hotel closed permanently in 2020.
