Scene where Patrick Verona serenades Kat on the stadium, he does it into a microphone connected to all the speakers, so security runs after him and tries to catch him, but he nimbly escapes all pursuits.

In Reality

The scene was filmed like all external school scenes at Stadium High School in Tacoma, Washington. This scene was shot on the open stadium of the school, where sports activities usually take place. The location was chosen because the stadium-type bleachers were convenient for filming the chase of the singer by security.

Kat Stratford's House

In the Movie

Scene where the head of the Stratford family comes home with mail in his hands. Kat sits in an armchair reading a book. When her father enters the living room, he goes through the letters and sees a response from the college with the results of Kat's interview.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Stratford family home, which was shot not far from the college, on one of the streets of Tacoma. This is an ordinary middle-class house in the region, which again emphasizes Kat's stable family in contrast to the rebel Verona.

Under the Bridge

In the Movie

Scene where Bianca Stratford and Cameron James meet under the bridge. Bianca has a new rule at home: no dating until her sister Kat finds a boyfriend. So Bianca decides that Cameron can help find a guy for her sister and thereby lift the ban on her.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the troll statue under the bridge in Seattle. This is a large statue located under a car bridge. The appearance of teenagers there is very unlikely, as it is in the city center, and they live and study about 50 kilometers south of this point.
