All filming of the movie took place in the Dominican Republic. Three locations were used in the film: the Anamera resort hotel, the Pinewood studio pavilion where only a few sea scenes were filmed, and of course the beach, where huge sets were built and almost all the filming took place.
Filming Locations:
Secret Beach
In the Movie

Scene where A group of tourists arrives at the beach, they walk through a gorge and reach a deserted coastline, where, as promised, there is no one, only white sand and blue ocean. They spread out their towels and prepare for a great vacation.
In Reality

The scene was filmed at Playa El Valle beach in the Dominican Republic. The rocks the main characters climb and the cave they try to enter are not real, but a set built specifically for the film. This is clearly visible in the behind-the-scenes photo. However, all the mountains in the background are real.
Anamica Hotel
In the Movie

Scene where guests arrive at an expensive hotel in a tropical paradise, and almost immediately they decide they are ready for an excursion to a secluded beach, which is actively advertised by the resort representatives. A group of diverse and unfamiliar people gathers and they drive to the beach, planning to spend the whole day there.
In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Anamera Resort, Dominican Republic - a luxurious hotel with minimalist architecture built on a tropical island. All hotel scenes, which are a small but important part of the film, were shot here. The hotel is also conveniently located, not far from the secret beach filming location, and also accessible to the Pinewood studio where pool scenes were filmed.
Coral Reef, Near the Beach
In the Movie

Scene where Trent and Carla assume that swimming through the coral is the only way to escape the beach and return to a world with normal time flow. To do this, they need to quickly swim to the reef, dive, and swim an unknown distance underwater. They realize they have no choice and decide to try.
In Reality

The scene was filmed in a large pool at the Pinewood studio pavilion, Dominican Republic. The underwater coral scenes were not filmed in the sea, but at the studio, where artificial sets were built. The director shared behind-the-scenes photos on his social media.
