The scene was filmed in North Vancouver - this is a private house located far from Princess Park. It's also worth noting that the house was additionally processed with computer graphics: trees were added to "move" the house from a residential area into the woods, and the yard was cleared of bushes.

The scene was filmed at a studio in Vancouver; the cabin is a set built specifically for the film, as is the entire interior of Adam's house. According to the production designer, building sets instead of filming in a real house was due to the large number of night scenes; it's easier for actors and crew to film them during the day, simulating night. That's why the house was built in a closed pavilion.

The company's building itself was created on a computer, although inspired by the shopping center.
