The scene was shot at London City Hall - the headquarters of the Greater London Authority, which governs 32 boroughs and the City of London. City Hall opened in 2002, two years after the GLA was formed, and was designed by Norman Foster in a neo-futuristic style with a glass bulb. The main atrium features a 500-meter helical walkway that rises all ten floors, and the council chamber at the bottom is visible from anywhere in the atrium.

The scene was shot at Millennium Bridge - a pedestrian span connecting Bankside in front of Tate Modern to the City of London. The bridge originally opened in 2000, but after strong vibrations on opening day, it was immediately closed and only reopened two years later after installing viscous fluid dampers to mitigate the problem. The bridge has a distinctive suspension structure where cables run below the pedestrian surface due to height restrictions and to avoid blocking the view of St. Paul's Cathedral.
