The scene was filmed at a house in the Park Mesa Heights neighborhood, Los Angeles. The house became a symbol of black family life in American culture, especially after appearing in the film 'Boyz n the Hood'. It was also used in other films, such as 'Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood', where it served as the home for Ashtray and Loc Dog.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at 6002 South Wilton Place in Los Angeles. During filming, there was a vacant lot on this site. However, by 1993, a residential building had been constructed there. Over time, several neighboring houses were demolished and rebuilt.

Tisha's House

Scene where Tre waits for Tisha's mom and grandmother to leave so he can sneak into the house to see his girlfriend. The women in immaculate white dresses create a powerful image that reflects the neighborhood's atmosphere, where even the elderly care about their presentation. As soon as the mom and grandmother leave, Tre quickly heads to the door, where Tisha greets him.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at a house located at 5330 Chelsea Avenue, which was built in 1914 and has an area of 1850 square feet. Although the house still stands in its place and looks almost the same as it did then, some changes have been made, such as the color of the walls and roof. Fans can only see the exterior of the building, as the house is privately owned.
