The film was shot in Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and London. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport was one of the filming locations. The film crew also set up camp in several places in the U.S. capital, capturing Georgetown, the West Building of the National Gallery of Art, the Jetty at the Wharf, and several picturesque streets. In London, the crew filmed Big Ben, Tower Bridge, and the historic riverside street Shad Thames.

Scene where Cole arrives in London and searches for Sadie using the phone's locator signal. He enters an arch, where two menacing men meet him. He slowly tries to leave, but a third man blocks his path. They grab him and inject him with a sedative.

In Reality

The scene was filmed near a bar called "Vault 1894" in London. The establishment is located under Tower Bridge. Previously, this place was a coal storage facility, later converted into a garage for "Bridge Masters" vehicles. In 2007, a bar opened here.

The Stairs

Scene where Sadie and Cole approach the stairs. Cole proposes a competition: whoever is last to reach the top step must reveal what they are afraid of. Sadie agrees, surprising Cole. They run up the stairs, and Sadie wins.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at a place called the "Exorcist Steps" in Washington, D.C. The stairs got their name after the horror film "The Exorcist" was shot there, which Chris Evans' character mentions in the scene. The steps are located in the picturesque Georgetown neighborhood. Many city residents use these stairs for physical exercise: they run and walk up and down them. So it is very symbolic that the characters in the scene have a competition on the steps.

Scene where the characters stroll and enter the building where Lincoln was shot. Cole talks about himself: he has a degree in agronomy, but he is a history buff and is writing a book. Sadie teases him and asks what the book is about.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at Ford's Theatre near a tower of books dedicated to Abraham Lincoln. In this theater, on April 14, 1865, the president was shot. The tower consists of 15,000 books and reaches a height of 10 meters. The display symbolically suggests that the last word about this great figure will never be written.
