The scene was filmed at Battersea Power Station is a pair of coal-fired power stations built between 1929 and 1941, designed by architects J. Theo Halliday and Giles Gilbert Scott in the style of a brick cathedral with luxurious Art Deco interiors. The stations were closed in 1975 and stood vacant for over 35 years as various redevelopment plans failed. Redevelopment of the site finally began in 2013, when Malaysian developer and architect Frank Gehry, in partnership with Foster + Partners, restored the power station, turning it into offices that will primarily house the largest European offices of Apple Inc., with over 4,000 homes on the adjacent land.

The scene was filmed at Leadenhall Market is one of London's oldest markets, dating back to the 14th century. The market is covered by an ornate roof designed by Sir Horace Jones in 1881.

The scene was filmed at Opened as a vaudeville theatre in 1927 and converted into a cinema in the early 1930s. In 1974, it was acquired by the City of Vancouver and converted into a live performance venue. In 1979, the building was listed on the Vancouver Heritage Register.

The scene was filmed at The Central Branch of the Vancouver Public Library, built in 1995, occupies an entire city block in downtown and was designed by Moshe Safdie of DA Architects. A large central atrium is surrounded by the library on one side and several floors of reading rooms on the other. The main building is adjoined by a 21-story office tower and retail spaces.
