The scene was filmed at A small state reserve located at the southernmost point of Malibu, quite popular among climbers looking for a relatively easy ascent. The cape is clearly visible from the neighboring Westward Beach, which continues northwest to the more popular Zuma Beach.

The scene was filmed at The Walt Disney Concert Hall is one of five halls that make up the Los Angeles Music Center, the others being the Mark Taper Forum, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Ahmanson Theatre, and Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theatre. The building was designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry, and the acoustics were developed by Minoru Nagata and Yasuhisa Toyota. Although initial funds were donated in 1987 and construction began in 1992, due to various fundraising issues, the hall itself was completed only in 2003 and cost $274 million. Externally, the hall consists of a series of sweeping, organic walls of polished stainless steel.

The scene was filmed at LAX is the fourth busiest airport in the world (2nd in the US), covering more than 3,500 acres on the seashore between Westchester and El Segundo. The airport first opened in 1930 as Mines Field and received its current name in 1949. The airport is served by four parallel runways, the longest of which is nearly 13,000 feet long. LAX has nine passenger terminals with 128 gates, as well as a cargo terminal and a helipad. The distinctive Googie-style theme building at the center of the terminal complex was designed in 1961 by architect Paul Williams. The arched structure houses a panoramic retro-futuristic restaurant with views of the airport.

The Standard Hotel

The scene was filmed at Designed by architect Claud Beelman in the corporate modern style, the 12-story hotel began its life as the headquarters of the Superior Oil Company in 1955. The exterior of the building is finished in white marble and stainless steel. In 2002, the building reopened after a major renovation as the second location of The Standard hotel, with a rooftop pool, bar, and dance floor on the 12th floor.

Pacific Design Center

The scene was filmed at The Pacific Design Center is a 1.6 million square foot building built for the design community, housing furniture stores, showrooms, conference rooms, a branch of the Museum of Contemporary Art, and several restaurants. The building was designed by architect Cesar Pelli with assistance from Norma Merrick Sklarek and opened in three sections: the Blue Center in 1975, the Green Center in 1988, and the Red Center in 2013.

The scene was filmed at This Los Angeles estate was built in 1928 for Edward Doheny, son of an oil magnate. In 1965, the estate was acquired by the city and is now a park and historic site. The grounds are open to the public, and the mansion itself can be toured.
