The scene was filmed at Crocker's Folly - a pub and inn in the Northern Renaissance style, built in 1898 by architect Charles Worley. Originally known as 'The Crown', it was renamed in 1987 to its long-standing nickname based on a false story that the original owner, Frank Crocker, built the pub on this site due to a false tip that it was near the new terminus of the Great Central Railway, and lost his fortune when it turned out not to be the case.
