Scene was filmed here This 2,000-seat auditorium was built in 1931 as an ornate movie palace. It was designed by S. Charles Lee and Samuel Tilden Norton in the French Baroque style with a grand central staircase in the lobby surrounded by lavish decorations. The theater opened with the premiere of Charlie Chaplin's film "City Lights" in January 1931. The theater closed to the public in 1994 but is still used for special events and filming.

Across the tracks, connected by an underground tunnel, is the Patsaouras Transit Plaza, designed by Ehrenkrantz & Eckstut, which serves several bus lines and also houses Metro offices.
