The scene was filmed at Heathrow Airport began as a small airfield called Great West Aerodrome near the small village of Heathrow to the west of London. In 1944, the airport began to expand significantly to support the war effort, but after the war ended, it was converted into a civilian airport. It was designed by architect Sir Norman Foster and has a massive interior designed for 50,000 daily passengers. The station has two entrances covered by curved glass canopies, and Jubilee Park stretches above the station.

City Hall opened in 2002, two years after the formation of the GLA, and was designed by Norman Foster in a neo-futuristic style with a glass bulb. The main atrium features a 500-meter spiral walkway that rises through all ten floors, and the council chamber at the bottom is visible from any point in the atrium.
