The scene was filmed on the grounds of Vancouver Technical Secondary School. The fairly extensive school grounds (five buildings, tennis courts, stadium) allowed the series' filming crew to shoot many scenes. After all, a significant part of the plot takes place at the school.

In the Show

Scene where Holder comes to Linden's house. The results of the ballistics test have arrived, and the character is eager to share them. Scene from the first episode of the fourth season.
In Reality

The scene was filmed in Langley, in southeastern British Columbia, Canada. The filming crew needed a small house in a secluded place where the main character indulges in her loneliness. And they found one in the Canadian municipality of Langley, east of the city of Surrey.
