Scene was filmed at Hollywood's only cemetery is also one of the oldest in Los Angeles, dating back to 1899. The original cemetery area was 60 acres, but the southern half was sold to Paramount Pictures for the construction of Paramount Studios in 1920. Since 2002, summer film screenings have been regularly held at the cemetery, projected onto the Cathedral Mausoleum.

Scene was filmed at The historic Beverly Hills City Hall building was built in 1932 by architects William J. Gage and Harry G. Koerner in the Spanish Revival style. At the time of construction, it was the largest and most expensive city hall building built in any city of its size in the country.
