Scene was filmed here Paramount Ranch was one of the first movie ranches, built on 2,700 acres of land acquired in 1927 by Paramount Studios. Over the years, the studio built many sets on the ranch, including a huge replica of San Francisco, a Western town, a European village, a Chinese town, and more. The most enduring Western town was built from sets moved from the Encino Ranch when it closed in 1954. In 1980, the National Park Service took control of most of the ranch and has managed it since. In November 2018, the Woolsey Fire swept through the area and destroyed most of the structures.

The building was designed by architect John C. Austin in Greek and Beaux-Arts styles and contains only the third planetarium opened in the country. The observatory's iconic status and magnificent views of the city have made it a very popular filming location.

The regular season runs from April to September, with an additional few weeks in late October for 'Fright Nights'. The carousel features 68 richly decorated horses and is the only surviving four-row carousel by the Spillman Engineering Company in the world. At the center of the carousel is a Stinson 165 military organ with a repertoire of over 1,500 songs. It was on this carousel that Walt Disney first got the idea for Disneyland while watching his daughters ride.

Scene was filmed here RMS Queen Mary is a British ocean liner that first set sail in 1936 as the flagship of the Cunard-White Star Line. The ship operated on the Southampton-New York route and held the speed record on that route until 1952. In 1967, the Queen Mary was decommissioned due to the rise of jet travel and was moved to Long Beach, where it has been permanently moored ever since. The ship now houses a hotel, several restaurants, and a museum, and is listed as a historic site.
