Scene where students from Xavier's school visit the museum, they have a tour, but some students do not listen and play with their own powers, demonstrating their abilities to other mutants and people. This provokes minor problems.

In reality

The scene was filmed at Plaza of Nations - an entertainment and events complex built for Expo '86. The original covered plaza was large enough to hold 4,500 people for performances, and many famous artists performed there before it was demolished in 2007 for safety reasons. Currently, only two original structures remain: the main glass building which now houses the Edgewater Casino, and an office building at 750 Pacific Boulevard.

The scene was filmed at Los Angeles City Hall - a 32-story office building built in 1928 and the first purpose-built city hall building in Los Angeles. The building was designed in a combination of various styles and did not claim any specific style. Due to the city charter limiting building height, the tower was the tallest building in Los Angeles until 1964.

The scene was filmed at A Gothic Revival style church, opened in 1933, housing the United Church of Canada. The church was designed by Robert and George Twizell, two founders of the Wesley Methodist Church. The building is a Vancouver heritage site.
