The scene was filmed at Vancouver Aquarium, located in Stanley Park, opened in 1956 and became the first aquarium in Canada. This aquarium was the first in the world to display killer whales (although the capture of killer whales was banned in 1996, and since 2001, no killer whales have been kept there).
