The scene was filmed at Freemasons' Hall - the headquarters of the United Grand Lodge of England and meeting place for many local Masonic lodges. Although the Grand Lodge has occupied the site since 1775, the current hall was built only in 1933 in Art Deco style by architects Henry Victor Ashley and F. Winton Newman in honor of Freemasons who died in World War I. The building houses the Grand Temple, where the Grand Lodge meets, 26 other Masonic temples for local branches, and the Museum of Freemasonry.
