The scene was filmed at The Chan Centre is a magnificent concert venue located on the campus of the University of British Columbia. The main concert hall, Chan Shun Concert Hall, features a distinctive floating canopy and beautiful teak wood walls. The smaller Telus Studio Theatre has three-tiered seating that can be moved into various configurations. The building also houses a small cinema, the Royal Bank Cinema, a beautiful soaring lobby, and various versatile backstage spaces.
