π Continuing our #TechLeaders series! Our hero today is Igor Pchelintsev, a graduate of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, participant in the TOP-50 of the TOP-1000 ranking of university startups in the country, founder of the startup "Prokeramika".
π The company "Prokeramika" (LLC Retech) has developed a domestic technology for 3D printing of complex-shaped ceramic products. The team creates a full production complex: its own 3D printer, software, and special ceramic materials. Such products are needed in mechanical engineering, the oil and gas industry, and the aerospace industry. The strategic industrial partner of the company is JSC CAT of Rostec State Corporation.
π The ceramic 3D printing market in Russia is only forming and growing by more than 20% per year. At the same time, there are no domestic solutions of this level yet, causing companies to incur large costs. "Prokeramika" has already tested its technology with major industrial partners and received its first revenue.
βοΈ The project started as a university startup at Skoltech and is now actively developing. The company is a resident of Skolkovo and the Moscow Innovation Cluster (MIC), received a Start-1 grant from the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises, and participated in accelerators. Sales of ceramic materials have already been launched, and the release of its own 3D printer took place in May last year. Clients include mechanical engineering and oil and gas enterprises, including state corporations. In the future, the team plans to enter the biomedical and dental markets and replace foreign solutions in this area.
βΉοΈ The startup is a resident of the Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship of the federal project "Technologies" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
βΉοΈ β let's create something new together!
