Scene where Logan, searching for the girl in the photo, arrives at the dog shelter run by the Green family. He is met by a young woman, and the hero recognizes her as his "savior." They get acquainted, and by chance Logan gets a job at the shelter.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at Creedmoor Plantation in Louisiana. In the early 19th century, the 120,000 square kilometer area was a sugar plantation. Now it is private property, where the film crew was allowed to shoot. The artists turned a dilapidated chicken coop into the reception area of the dog shelter. Photos of pets were hung on the walls, many of which were actual pets of the crew members.

At the Church

In the Movie

Scene where Logan accompanies the choir on the piano in the church. Beth's little son comes on stage. He plays the violin and is a little out of tune; Logan encourages him with a smile. Beth, sitting in the audience, has tears in her eyes — she is very proud of her little boy.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Abita Springs. The church was built in 1906, later the building was named "Brown-Levson Hall," and is now used as a Sunday school and for meetings with parishioners.

Logan's House

Scene where Logan is shown an old abandoned house for sale. He looks around and sees that the house needs major repairs. The hero agrees to buy it, as he needs a place to live. The seller helpfully offers boards and tools for fixing up the house.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at Camp Salmen Nature Park Lodge. The old Franco-Creole cottage located in Camp Salmen Nature Park became the hero's home. The building was built between 1787 and 1790, and there is no exact information on what it was used for at that time. After 1924, the house served as the main building of Camp Salmen for Boy Scouts. The structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
