Scene where the main character is driven along a road under military convoy. The atmosphere inside the vehicle is tense, everyone is silent, Tony doesn't like it, and he decides to chat with his fellow passengers. They joke, laugh, and decide to take a photo. Suddenly, the first vehicles of the convoy explode.

In Reality

The scene was filmed in central California, in Lone Pine on Route 395. The mountains visible in the frame are the Alabama Hills, a fairly famous filming location when you need to show the Middle East with its rocky, unfriendly landscapes.

Stark Industries Headquarters

In the Movie

Scene where Tony Stark returns to the USA after three months in captivity by terrorists in Afghanistan. He decides to hold a press conference. As he gets out of the car, Obadiah Stane meets him and escorts him into the Stark Industries building.

In Reality

The scene was filmed in an office building in Irvine, California. The structure was built in 1996 according to the design of the architectural firm Gensler. The building looks monumental and luxurious. And, as we know, everything related to Tony Stark cannot look otherwise.

Concert Hall

In the Movie

Scene where Tony unexpectedly appears at a charity gala. He surprises Obadiah with his appearance, and Obadiah advises him not to do anything eccentric. Tony assures him that he only came for a couple of minutes and approaches the bar. There, Agent Coulson is waiting for him.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra now performs there. The striking avant-garde building harmonizes with the hero's image, as he does everything in a big way.

Tony Stark's Residence

In the Movie

Scene where the journalist wakes up in Tony Stark's house. Huge windows automatically lighten, and a robotic voice reports weather data. The heroine looks out the window and sees a luxurious view of the Pacific Ocean.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at Point Dume on the Malibu coast in California. This is a national park area where any construction is prohibited, so it was decided to model the fantastic building on a computer. The mansion is "built" on the edge of a picturesque cliff, which again emphasizes Tony Stark's exceptional status.
