The scene was filmed at The Reform Club, a private members' club built in 1841 by architect Sir Charles Barry in the Italian Renaissance style. Originally founded as an all-male club and home to progressive political parties, it became the first of its kind to admit women in 1981, and now, after the decline of the Liberal Party, has shifted to a less political role.

The scene was filmed at Westminster Bridge, designed by Thomas Page and opened in 1862 to replace a deteriorating earlier span. The bridge consists of seven cast-iron arches with detailing by Charles Barry. It is the oldest surviving river crossing in London.
