Unlike the first seasons of the 1978 series, which were filmed in Los Angeles, the modern continuation was moved to a geographically correct location in California. Almost all scenes of the new series were filmed in Texas and in the city of Dallas as well.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Southfork Ranch in Parker, Texas. The house was built in 1970. Currently, the house serves as a conference center. Various tours are held on the ranch because the iconic 1978 series "Dallas" was filmed there.

Stadium

Scene where John Ross and Martha have a meeting at the stadium. The girl admires John's ambitions and praises him for not trusting J.R. The hero assures Martha that Southfork will belong only to him. Scene from the first episode of the first season

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the AT&T Stadium. It hosts home games for the Dallas Cowboys football team. The arena can accommodate 80,000 spectators and is the third largest stadium in the National Football League.

Bar

In the Movie

Scene where Christopher sits in a bar filling out papers. John Ross enters the room and aggressively tells his brother that they don't serve sake in this bar. They talk in raised voices. The conversation turns to Elena and the letter. Christopher threatens John and advises him to watch his back. Scene from the second episode of the first season

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Cedars Social bar. The restaurant, based on Mexican cuisine, is a popular and well-known place in Dallas. In addition to Mexican dishes, the restaurant is famous for its cocktail menu. The production team chose this location for filming because of its popularity among city residents.
