The scene was filmed at The Britannia Mine Museum, housed in the former copper ore concentrator building, is a National Historic Site that introduces visitors to British Columbia's mining industry. The concentrator operated for seventy years starting in 1904, and Mill No. 3 was built in 1923. In fact, no mining took place in these tunnels, as they were used to transport ore to Howe Sound.

Whytecliff Park

The scene was filmed at Whytecliff Park, located next to Horseshoe Bay, is a beautiful rocky beach and surrounding park. The most notable feature of the park is the tidal island Whyte Islet and the magnificent views of Howe Sound.

The scene was filmed at This large park was established in 1891 on the border between Burnaby and Vancouver. Originally, the forest was set aside for masts and spars for the Royal Navy, which helped preserve the area from development before it became a park.

The scene was filmed at The Bridge Studios began its life as a factory of the Dominion Bridge Company, where parts of the Lions Gate Bridge and many other Vancouver bridges were built. In the 1970s, the company left the plant, and for several years it was used for film shoots, before being converted into a film studio in 1987.
