The scene was filmed at The Japanese Garden was built next to the Donald C. Tillman Water Reclamation Plant in 1984. The 6.5-acre Chisen-Kaiyushiki-style garden consists of paths laid out around a pond, river, and waterfalls that conceptually connect the garden to the adjacent facility.
