The scene was filmed at A Gothic Revival mansion built in 1914 for Sir Henry Mill Pellatt at a cost of $3.5 million. After several owners, the mansion became city property in 1933 and was leased to the Kiwanis Club for 74 years. Today, it is open for tours.

Parkwood Estate and Gardens

The scene was filmed at Built in 1917, Parkwood Estate was the former home of GM of Canada founder Samuel McLaughlin. The McLaughlin family moved out in 1972, and in 1989 the estate became a historic site and is now a museum.
