Scene was filmed at Built in 1917, Parkwood Estate was the former home of GM of Canada founder Samuel McLaughlin. The McLaughlin family moved out in 1972, and in 1989 the estate became a historic site and is now a museum.

Scene was filmed at Once known as "Soupy's Tavern" and later "Stoupy's Tavern," this former bar has been completely renovated into the Royal Oak Inn, losing much of its seedy charm that made it a popular filming location for many years.
