The scene was filmed at The cast-iron bridge over the lake, designed by Calvert Vaux and Jacob Wrey Mould and opened in 1862, was the first cast-iron bridge built in the park. Bow Bridge is the longest bridge in Central Park, measuring 87 feet. The bridge is topped with eight cast-iron urns, which are duplicates installed in 2008 to replace the originals that disappeared in the 1920s.

The scene was filmed at Located at the end of The Mall and next to the lake, Bethesda Terrace is a landmark of Central Park. Built during the Civil War, the terrace is adorned with intricate ceramic tiles and the "Angel of the Waters" fountain, designed by prominent American sculptor Emma Stebbins.
