The scene was filmed at The Mall, running from the flowerbed on Center Drive in the south to Bethesda Terrace in the north, is the only straight path in the entire park. The path passes a row of statues of famous writers, known as Literary Walk, and goes by the Naumburg Bandshell. The path and its surrounding American elms were built in 1857 and designed as part of the great park by landscape architects Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux.

The scene was filmed at Built in 1932 in the English Gothic Revival style designed by architects from the firm Allison & Allison, the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles is a massive steel-reinforced concrete structure with a tower 157 feet high. The church houses the second largest church organ in the world.

The scene was filmed at Located at the end of The Mall and next to the lake, Bethesda Terrace is a landmark of Central Park. Built during the Civil War, the terrace is adorned with intricate ceramic tiles and the 'Angel of the Waters' fountain, designed by prominent American sculptor Emma Stebbins.
