The scene was filmed at Built in 1870 to house sheep that grazed on the nearby Sheep Meadow, the building was converted in 1934 into an elegant but affordable restaurant in Central Park. Over the century, the restaurant changed hands several times, and in 2009 it went bankrupt. A few years later, the restaurant was renovated and finally reopened in 2014.

The scene was filmed at Bryant Park is located in the city center, home to the New York Public Library. Originally opened in 1847 as Reservoir Square, it was renamed Bryant Park in 1884. Over the years, the park deteriorated until a renovation in the 1980s, when the entire park was rebuilt over the library's newly constructed underground stacks.
