The scene was filmed at The Vancouver Rowing Club's clubhouse was originally built in Tudor style in 1911 on the far shore of Coal Harbour by the Vancouver Club. Later, the club building was moved across the harbour to its current location and rebuilt on stationary piles. The Vancouver building is a heritage site.
