The scene was filmed at Hearn Generating Station - a decommissioned power plant originally built as coal-fired in 1951 and converted to natural gas in the 70s. The station was closed in the 80s, and since then the site has been largely unused. Most of the equipment inside was removed in 2002 when plans were made to turn it into a film studio, but those plans were eventually abandoned.
