Scene was filmed at Apthorp - an Italian Renaissance-style apartment building built in 1908 for William Waldorf Astor by the architectural firm Clinton & Russell. At the center of the building is a cobblestone courtyard and driveway. The building was sold in 2006 and converted into condominiums in 2008, selling for about $3,000 per square foot.

Scene was filmed at Opened as a vaudeville theatre in 1927 and converted into a movie theatre in the early 1930s. In 1974, it was acquired by the City of Vancouver and converted into a live performance venue. In 1979, the building was added to the Vancouver Heritage Register.
