The scene was filmed at The large terrace and the colonnaded hall beneath it are the central elements of Park Güell. Both were designed by Antoni Gaudí during the park's construction in the early 20th century, and the surrounding sea-serpent-shaped bench was designed by Gaudí's collaborator Josep Maria Jujol.

The original structure was in Gothic and Romanesque styles, with later additions in Renaissance, Islamic, and Baroque styles. The interior of the palace is famous for its extensive tile decoration.
