The scene was filmed at Purman Building - a wooden frame commercial warehouse built in 1915 in the Chicago school design style. It has been a historic building since 2017.

Corus Quay

In the movie

Scene where In episode 1x21 "We'll Do It Live", Dorothy broadcasts from the student lounge, which she uses as neutral territory, trying to get the gang back together.

In reality

The scene was filmed at Corus Quay - the new home of Corus Entertainment and the first part of a large East Bay redevelopment project. The building was completed in 2010 and includes green roofs, a five-story living wall, and several public art installations.
