The scene was filmed at The grand Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles opened in 1923 as the largest hotel west of the Mississippi. The hotel was designed by Schultze & Weaver in a blend of Mediterranean styles. The lavish interior includes frescoes by artist Giovanni Smeraldi, who also painted works for the Vatican and the White House. In addition to being featured in hundreds of films and TV shows over the years, it was also the venue where the Academy Awards were planned in 1927 and hosted the ceremony eight times over the years.

The scene was filmed at Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1924 for retailer Charles Ennis. The distinctive exterior is constructed from 27,000 patterned granite blocks in the Mayan Revival style. The house was first used for filming only six years later in the film "The Woman" and has been used regularly ever since.

The scene was filmed at The Ambassador Hotel was built in 1921 by architect Myron Hunt in the Mediterranean Revival style. Over the years, the hotel and its nightclub Cocoanut Grove were very popular celebrity hangouts. In 1968, Senator Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated in the hotel's main kitchen, marking the beginning of the hotel's rapid decline. The hotel closed to guests in 1989, though it remained open for filming and special events. In 2005, the hotel was finally demolished, preserving only a few small fragments that were used to build the new Los Angeles High School of the Arts.
