The scene was filmed at The Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, opened in 1923 as the largest hotel west of the Mississippi. Designed by Schultze & Weaver in a blend of Mediterranean styles, its lavish interiors include frescoes by Giovanni Smeraldi, who also worked for the Vatican and the White House. The hotel has appeared in hundreds of films and TV shows and hosted the Academy Awards planning in 1927 and the ceremony eight times.

The scene was filmed at Somerset House, a large neoclassical building designed by Sir William Chambers and built in 1776 on the Strand overlooking the Thames. For over two centuries, it housed various learned societies and government offices, including the Royal Academy, the Geological Society, the Navy Board, and the Stamp and Tax Office. In the mid-1980s, it was redeveloped into a centre for the visual arts.
