The scene was filmed at Originally built as Regent Circus South in 1819, Piccadilly Circus acquired its current name in the 1880s. Starting in 1908 with a Perrier sign, the junction was surrounded by characteristic illuminated signs giving it a distinctive Times Square feel, although currently all that has been reduced to a single building on the northwest corner of the circle.
