The scene was filmed at One Great George Street, designed by architect James Miller in the neoclassical style, is one of the earliest steel-framed buildings in England. It was built as the new headquarters of the Institution of Civil Engineers in 1913 and remains its headquarters, though since 1989 it has been available for public events.

The park features art exhibitions, a Shake Shack cafe, a fountain, and an enclosed dog park. Madison Square Garden got its name from the park when its predecessor was located just north. At the southern end of the park stands the famous Flatiron Building, which gave rise to the Flatiron District.

In 1850, the site was turned into a park, and in 1889, an arch was built in honor of the centennial of George Washington's inauguration, designed in the style of the Arc de Triomphe. The fountain in the center of the park was built in 1852 and underwent a major renovation in 1934.

The scene was filmed at Lancaster House is a neoclassical mansion built in 1825 for the Duke of York and Albany, designed by Sir Robert Smirke, and later succeeded by Benjamin Dean Wyatt. The interior was only completed in 1840 with the help of a third architect, Sir Charles Barry. The house has become a popular stand-in for Buckingham Palace in film and television, playing that role half a dozen times.
