The scene was filmed at Aldwych station originally opened in 1907 as Strand station and served as the terminus of a short branch of the Piccadilly Line. In 1962, due to low ridership, the station's hours were reduced, and in 1994 the station was closed. The accessible tracks and preserved platforms make the station a popular filming location.

The scene was filmed at Wilton's Music Hall was built in 1859 by architect Jacob Maggs and restored after a fire in 1878. The hall remains one of the few saloon-style music halls that has not undergone significant alterations since its original construction. For over 100 years, the hall was used for other purposes, including a soup kitchen and a rag warehouse, but in 1997 it was restored as a concert venue.
