The scene was filmed at The Old Royal Naval College, located in Greenwich on the Thames, is a prominent center of the area. Originally built in 1696 as the Royal Hospital for Seamen, the building passed into the hands of the Navy in 1873. In 1998, the building passed into the hands of the Greenwich Foundation and is now open to tourists and filming.

The scene was filmed at The house at Luton Hoo Estate was designed in the neoclassical style by architect Robert Adam and built for John Stuart, 3rd Earl of Bute, starting in 1767. The exterior of the house was updated by architect Robert Smirke in 1830 to its current appearance. The house was destroyed by fire in 1843, and during the subsequent reconstruction, the interior was modernized to match Smirke's exterior. In 1903, the new owner Sir Julius Wernher once again remodeled the interior in the Belle Époque style. Currently, the house houses a luxury hotel with 228 rooms, and the surrounding grounds still belong to the Wernher family.
