The scene was filmed at Tate Modern - a gallery of modern art opened in 2000 and the second most popular museum in England, after the British Museum, receiving over 5.8 million visitors annually. The museum was built in the decommissioned Bankside Power Station building, which operated on coal and oil from 1891 to 1981. After the station closed, several attempts were made to list the building, but they were rejected. The Tate group acquired the building in 1994 and spent about £134 million converting it into a museum.

The scene was filmed at Canary Wharf station on the Jubilee line was built in 1999 to serve the rapidly growing passenger flow at the Docklands Light Railway station. It was designed by architect Sir Norman Foster and has a massive interior designed for 50,000 daily passengers. Two entrances lead to the station, covered by curved glass canopies, and Jubilee Park stretches above the station.
